This sweet family will always have a special place in my heart, and it was a joy to help document their growing family. This lifestyle newborn family film session took place in Downtown McKinney, in a beautifully restored historic home. The Beverly-Harris House was decorated for Christmas with a minimalist, classic style. This studio is one of my favorites in the DFW area.
The Beverly-Harris House couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for this family film session. It’s bright and airy, with large windows and cozy furniture. It’s like we were capturing these precious moments in the comfort of their own home, but with all the beauty of a professionally styled studio.
Baby CJ’s proud older sisters were so much fun to watch. They were sweet and affectionate with their new baby brother. They also had a great time playing with their dad while their mamma enjoyed a few quiet moments with her precious son.
I’ve been photographing families for over five years, and beautiful family portraits still melt my heart and bring a smile to my face. But adding a family film elevates the photo session to the next level. Family films capture movement, emotions, and connections in a way photographs fall short.
This family radiates joy and love to everyone who knows them. Spending this special time with them was so sweet, and it was an honor to bless them with these precious photos and a memorable family film.
