It's
Bluebonnet Season
In North Texas!
If you've been around here long, you know that bluebonnet season is my absolute favorite. I love how fresh and new the world feels in the spring, and the warmer weather gets me excited to be outdoors again. In our family, spring is filled with lots of time in the garden, playing outside until the sun sets, and of course, our annual family pictures in the bluebonnets.
I get to meet so many new families for my bluebonnet mini sessions, and I always love helping them print their favorite photos so they can enjoy them all year round. I don't want the busyness of life to get in the way of getting these photos off their phone and onto their walls as tangible are. Because lets be honest...
This season is too precious to forget
Whether you have a large, blank wall you're looking to fill, or just a little nook in your home, there are so many options for your portraits. Here are a few of my favorite layouts, using photos from a sweet bluebonnet session.
The Large Gallery Wall
This layout is perfect if you have a large, blank wall to fill. This could be behind the couch, next to the kitchen table, or in the entry way. This look fills the space well, without looking cluttered. You can get a beautiful mix of posed and candid photos. I love to include candid individual portraits of each child, to really capture their unique personalities.

Bluebonnet Mini Session - April 2023
Ready to Book your Bluebonnet Photos?
Every year, I offer a limited number of bluebonnet mini sessions, but they book up quickly! My bluebonnet sessions take place on a private farm in Farmersville, a small town north east of Dallas.
My friends started spreading bluebonnet seeds years ago, and I really think these are the best bluebonnets in north Texas!
Bluebonnets typically peak during the first two weeks of April
